TIMEGHOUL

Timeghoul was formed in Missouri in 1987 (initially under the monicker Doom's Lyre) by Mike Stevens and Jeff Hayden. Then joined Tony Holman and Chad McNeely and Timeghoul was officially born in 1991. With a not so vast discogaphy the band managed to grant themselves some recognition within the underground scene. Timeghoul's style blends the thickness and rawness of old school Death Metal with an unusual ability to create eerie and gloomy atmospheres (the song "Occurrence on Mimas" from their second demo speaks for itself). Dark Descent records put out a compilation CD comprising their entire discography in 2012. Top notch stuff every Death Metal fan should definitely check out
